Brewing Bliss: A Guide to Mint Herbal Tea from Dried Leaves

Hello friends! ☕

Did you recently purchase dried mints from us? Another thing you can do with our dried mint leaves is make an incredible (herbal) tea out of it. Let’s have some fun brewing a delicious cup of tea in the kitchen!

It’s easier than you think, and the flavor is something you need to try! There is something about the first sip of warm mint tea in the morning. It is a perfect way to start the day or unwind in the evening

Ready to transform those leaves into a delicious tea? Here’s how it’s done:

  1. Start with the Good Stuff: Grab some Green Unison dried mint leaves. Our mint is organically grown and dried and store in the best condition that preserves its flavor, aroma, and potency.
  2. Crush the Treasure: Gently crush the dried mint leaves using your fingers or a mortar and pestle. This helps release more of those amazing oils and makes brewing a breeze. But don’t turn it into powder—you want some texture!
  3. Time to Heat things Up! Bring some fresh water to a rolling boil.
  4. Steep It Real Good: Use 1 teaspoon of dried mint leaves for every mug (about 240ml) of water. Let those leaves soak for 5-7 minutes. You’ll see the water transform into a beautiful, vibrant green.
  5. Strain and Sip: Grab a strainer and pour your tea into your favorite mug leaving behind the steeped leaves.
  6. Make It Your Own: Feeling fancy? Add a drizzle of honey, a squeeze of lemon, or even some other herbs to create your signature blend.

And there you have it! A cup of pure bliss, brewed right in your own kitchen.

Before you go, here’s a bonus tip: Don’t throw those used mint leaves! They’re still packed with flavor. Throw them in a smoothie, sprinkle them on a salad, or even use them as a garnish. There are many ways to reuse it.
